A Christ Centered Purpose
At Parkwood Weekday Early Education Center and Prep School, christian education invites young people to see and understand the world through the perspective of God’s truth. The Bible becomes the lens in which students view what they are learning. The lens focuses their thinking on the ultimate truth. It is not solely about a Christian way of understanding but a Christian way of living. Christian education informs, invites, and inspires young people to live this way. This is done in a community of love and learning between families, children and teachers. After 48 years serving as an important ministry of Parkwood Church as Parkwood Weekday Early Education Center we continue to strive to fulfill the values of the Church.
Christ-Centered Focus: We value and prioritize providing a Christ-centered environment where students can develop a strong foundation of faith and spiritual growth.
Lifelong Love of Learning: We believe in fostering a lifelong love of learning, inspiring curiosity, and cultivating a passion for knowledge that extends beyond the classroom.
Safe and Loving Environment: We prioritize creating a safe and loving environment where students feel supported, respected, and valued, enabling them to thrive and grow.
We believe in providing an individualized approach to education, recognizing and celebrating the unique strengths, interests, and learning styles of each child.
We believe in the importance of a strong partnership with families, acknowledging their crucial role in a child’s education and fostering open and collaborative relationships.
We believe in striving for excellence and continuously improving our educational programs, ensuring high-quality instruction, innovative teaching methods, and up-to-date resources.
We uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethics, teaching and modeling honesty, fairness, and responsibility to develop strong moral character and ethical decision-making skills in our students.
